Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed October 2026

We want everyone to be able to use houseofaure.studio, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced motion settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

1. Where we are now

This website has not yet had a full accessibility audit, so we do not claim that it fully meets WCAG 2.2 AA. We are testing it and fixing what we find.

2. What we have built in

  • Headings in a logical order for screen readers
  • Buttons, links and form fields that work with a keyboard
  • A visible outline on the link, button or field that has keyboard focus
  • Labels on every form field, with required fields marked for assistive technology
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Body text colours chosen to contrast clearly with their backgrounds
  • Buttons sized for touch screens
  • Animations turned off when your device is set to reduce motion

3. Known limitations

  • The layout is designed for large screens and scales down to fit smaller ones, rather than rearranging itself. On phones, text can appear small. Pinch to zoom works.
  • Browser zoom does not make text larger, because the page rescales itself to fit the window.

We are working on these. If any of them stops you using the website, contact us and we will help.

4. Feedback and help

If something on this website blocks you, email info@houseofaure.studio with the subject line "Accessibility". Tell us the page and what happened, and we will come back to you.

5. Other formats

If you need anything on this website in another format, such as plain text or larger print, ask us and we will provide it where we can.
